About us
The practice was established in 2000 by Sheena Milne. We aim to give the highest possible standard of care at all times, at the same time as providing a friendly and approachable atmosphere. The practice was nominated for Practice Of The Year in 2007. Sheena was nominated as vet of the year for the past 3 years running.
We are lucky enough to have excellent staff, all dedicated to animal care. Each member of staff has their own particular area of interest. We have three vets, four qualified nurses, two trainee nurses, three receptionists and one practice manager.
We are constantly updating our equipment and have bronchoscopes as well as gastroscopes. Last year we installed digital xray processors at both branches so we can take fantastic quality xrays of pets of all sizes. We have excellent laboratory facilities which enable us to run a full range of blood tests within the hour. We also have a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine. We have a full video endoscope which allows us to perform laparoscopic bitch spays, cystoscopy, rhinoscopy and thoracoscopy.
We underwent extension and refurbishment of the building in 2011 and now offer hospital standard facilities.
We are one of the few practices in the country to be an accredited practice under the RCVS standards scheme. We also have nurses staying on site overnight so that in patients can receive the best of care. For even more reasons to choose us, click here.

Consultation times to suit you
We are aware that many people work long hours and cannot visit the vet during the day, therefore we offer appointments on a Saturday morning and until 7.30pm on some evenings. Full details of opening hours can be found on our individual branch details.
Nurse clinics
Our nurses all have their special areas of interest and we run a variety of nurses clinics to give advice on a wide range of healthcare issues.
