We are very pleased to be able to offer a very new procedure when your pet requires surgery. By performing the operation endoscopically your pet will have tiny wounds, meaning much less pain and a very fast return to normal. Your dog could be running around on a walk only 2-3 days later (as compared to the normal recovery time of 7-14 days). Human surgery has advanced so that most procedures are now performed endoscopically and the veterinary world is starting to follow this example. Here are a few of the procedures which can be carried out using our brand new state of the art video endoscope:
Abdomen (Laparoscopy)
- Ovariectomy (endoscopic bitch spay)
- Exploration of the abdominal cavity, e.g when investigating abdominal pain or swelling

- Resection of tumours with diathermy
Thorax(Thoracoscopy)
